Summer is here, and we are gearing up for one of the most exciting weeks of the year! We invite every child in our community to join us for Team Spirit VBS — a free, high-energy, sports-themed VBS that will have kids laughing, learning, and growing in their faith all week long.

This Year's Theme: TEAM SPIRIT

Every great team needs great players — and this summer, we're studying one of the greatest players in the Bible: King David.

From a young shepherd boy taking down a giant, to a warrior, poet, and king who chased after God's own heart, David's life is one of the most thrilling stories ever told. Through a sports lens, kids will discover what made David such an extraordinary teammate, leader, and follower of God — and how those same qualities can shape who they are today.

Each night will bring a new lesson, a new challenge, and a new opportunity to grow. Kids will learn that being part of God's team means showing up with courage, humility, perseverance, and faith — on and off the field.

 

What to Expect Each Night

Doors open at 5:45 PM each evening for a jam-packed two hours of:

• 🏅 High-Energy Games – Get moving with sports-themed games and activities designed for all ages and skill levels

• 🎵 Worship & Music – Sing and move along to upbeat songs that bring the theme to life

• 📖 Bible Lessons – Engaging, age-appropriate lessons drawn from the life of King David

• ✂️ Crafts & Activities – Creative take-home projects that reinforce each night's message

• 🤝 Community & Connection – A safe, welcoming space to make new friends and feel at home

 

Dinner Is Available!

Want to make it a full evening? Join us before VBS for a hot dinner at 5:30 PM — just $5 per person. It's a great way to connect with other families in the community before the night kicks off. Dinner is optional, but we'd love to have you at the table!

 

Wednesday Night: Family Experience + Cookout Block Party

Wednesday, June 16 is a night you will not want to miss!

Parents and family members are warmly invited to join their kids at 6 PM for the Family Experience — a special time where you get a front-row seat to everything your child has been learning throughout the week. Sing the songs, hear the lessons, and cheer your kids on as they show you what Team Spirit is all about.

After the Family Experience, we're throwing a Cookout Block Party for the whole community! Come hungry, come ready to have fun, and come ready to celebrate with your neighbors. This is one of our favorite nights of the entire summer — you won't want to miss it!

 

 

Who Can Attend?

Team Spirit VBS is open to all children from age 3 through (exiting) 5th grade in the community. You do not need to be a member of our church to attend — all families are welcome, and we mean it. Come as you are!
