Senior Minister
David Young grew up in the churches of Christ in Middle Tennessee, where he began preaching at the age of 16. He currently serves as the Senior Minister for the North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He has worked for churches in Missouri, Kansas, and Tennessee, taught New Testament at several colleges, and travelled widely teaching and preaching, leading mission trips and hosting tours to the Holy Lands and to other religious sites.
David is a a founder of New Day Resources, a board member of the Renew Network, and he has spoken for Discipleship.org. He is also the author of several books, which you can find listed on his website davidyoungnb.com.
He holds the B.A. from Freed-Hardeman University, the M.A. from Harding School of Theology, and the M.A. and Ph.D. in New Testament from Vanderbilt University. David and his wife Julie have two married children.

John Magnuson
Communications Minister & Director, New Day
John Magnuson grew up in Murfreesboro, and has been with North Boulevard since 2007. He has served in a variety of roles and currently serves as the Communications Minister and Director of New Day, a ministry focused on discipleship and church renewal. He is a graduate of Riverdale High School, Lipscomb University, Pepperdine University, and the Robert E. Webber Institute of Worship Studies. He and his wife April have two grown children and two awesome grandsons, Slade and Ezekiel.
Glenn Robb
Church Planting Coordinator
Glenn Robb grew up in the rural community of Greenhill, Alabama. It was near the Tennessee River where he learned to swim, ski and fish. Glenn grew up listening to preachers talk about Jesus dying for our sins and rising from the dead to prove he was the son of God. At age twelve Glenn made a commitment to follow Jesus and was baptized. A sense of purpose and confidence set a new direction for his life. He and his wife Nancy have served as church planting missionaries to Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Atlanta, Georgia, and now Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Joe Roberts
Discipleship Minister
Joe is presently the Discipleship/Small Group minister for the North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro Tennessee having served in ministry since 1979 and is also the Director for the School of Professional Studies at Tennessee Tech University. He is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University and has three graduate degrees along with a doctorate from Florida Atlantic University in leadership. He has served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear engineer, as the Director of the Spiritual Growth Workshop, now the Equip Conference in Orlando, Florida, Co-Director of Blue Ridge Family Encampment in North Carolina and on various boards such as the American Red Cross and Advisory Board of Freed-Hardeman University.
He and his wife Judy have been married since June of 1981 and have two grown children, Chad and Amy. Judy works in human resources for Tennessee Tech University. Chad and Amy are graduates of Lipscomb University. Chad works and lives in Nashville TN. Amy is married to Reid Hillin and they have a son, Henry. They make their home in Antioch TN.
David Skidmore
Senior Youth Minister
David has served as the Youth Minister of North Boulevard since 2001. He and his wife Melissa are raising three teenagers of their own — Daisy, Anna Belle, and Lila Mae. David’s mission is to serve as a “sycamore tree” to the teenagers of the nbyg, lifting them above the distractions of the crowd so they might see the approaching Savior more clearly.
Amy Sain
Children's Minister
Amy Sain has served as North Boulevard’s Children’s Minister since 2006. She loves leading the children and families in the Boulevard Kids ministry. Her greatest joy is when she sees the children age through the program as they grow strong in their walk with Christ and dedicate their lives to Him through baptism. She loves meeting new families, planning great events, and writing Bible lessons. She and her husband, Robert, have three daughters. In her spare time, she loves to spend time and play games with her family, eat at new restaurants, travel, and work on her golf game with her girls!
