The Story Behind The Chosen Season 6

The Chosen is a historical drama that brings the life of Jesus to the screen through the eyes of the people who knew Him—His disciples, His family, His followers, and even those who opposed Him.

Now, the story reaches its most pivotal moment.

Season 6 unfolds over the course of a single day: Good Friday. From Jesus' arrest in Gethsemane through His trials, scourging, and crucifixion, we enter the intense, deeply personal experiences of those caught up in the events that changed the world forever. His followers face fear, confusion, and grief. Religious leaders wrestle with questions of justice and power. Roman authorities confront a situation they cannot easily control. And through it all, Jesus remains resolute as the road leads to the cross.

The public release is just around the corner! The first three episodes arrive on Prime Video November 15, with new episodes releasing weekly through December 6. The season's climactic conclusion is scheduled to continue with a standalone theatrical release in March 2027.

Come experience the beginning of this powerful chapter together as a church family. Invite a friend, choose your campus, and join us for an evening of worship, community, and a story that leads us to the heart of the Gospel.
