It’s time to unplug and rough it for a weekend of adventure! This year we will look at the Marks of a Man while enjoying God’s wonderful outdoors.

TRAVEL SCHEDULE

Friday, June 16 

• 11am — Meet at North Boulevard's East Campus (1112 N. Rutherford Blvd.)

• 11:30am — We will caravan from there to the campsite. Carpooling is encouraged! The drive will take about an hour and a half.

• 1pm — Hike to campsite & set up, followed by dinner & evening session

Sunday, June 18

• 12pm — Pack up camp & drive back to Murfreesboro

• 2pm — Arrive back at the church & head home

WHAT TO BRING

CAMPING GEAR

The camp site is about a mile hike from the parking lot. It is near running water, which can be used for drinking water (with a water filtration system) but there is NO ELECTRICITY. 

You will need:

• Bible

• tent 

• sleeping bag & sleeping pad

• headlamp, flashlights, candles for lighting

• camp chairs

• water filtration system

• cup/mug/bottle to drink out of

• plates and utensils

• earplugs

• trash bags

CLOTHES

Stick with basic casual attire. Keep yourself dry, and dress in layers. This is still close enough for that “Tennessee weather”!

• jeans and shorts

• t-shirts

• jacket or hoodie for night

• rain layer

• extra socks

• comfortable shoes

FOOD

Food and water will not be provided. We'll be camping at a complete backcountry site. As the time gets closer, we will discuss food and water options for those who have not been off- grid camping.
